TCL's 75-inch 6-series TV (75R617) is the much anticipated jumbo version of the company's shockingly good 4K HDR TV model. Outfitted with Dolby Vision and HDR10, a competent full array local dimming system, and surprisingly good processing, this TV is one of the most compelling big-screen options under $2,000, never mind that it can be found for under $1500. In this TCL 75R617 review, we take a close look at the TV's picture quality and determine how it stacks up against much more expensive competition from the likes of Sony, LG, and Samsung.
Editor's note: The picture strobing visible in the video is not visible to the eye and was caused by the rolling shutter of the camera (1/60 sec). This is eliminated at 1/30sec shutter speed.
