Here we have the WEP 937D+ Soldering Station. I bought this to replace my (expensive) Circuit Specialist 75W Premier that just gave up the ghost. This solder station is bang on and in this video I will show that the heat it shows on the dial is the heat that goes right to the tip of the iron.
This unit comes under many guises and popular brands are YIHUA /AYOUE but I don't know they are exactly the same. I actually hunted down the WEP brand as it gets good reviews. I got this on eBay for £32.99 (last one) and that was a great deal as they sell for £45.00 in the UK. Here is the Amazon link; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soldering-Station-Stand-Digital-Display/dp/B015IZ3CIS/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_60_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=F6AX33121D9YWZ95V6Y7
For £32.99 I can't really go wrong. If it does die (in time), I will just bite the bullet and go buy myself a legit HAKKO FX-888D. I will no longer recommend Circuit Specialist sations (as I explained in the video).
I hope this review is helpful to some of you. Check my guitar repair video's and subscribe if you like what you see.
NOTE: At 16:49 I say 'Now this solder is lead free.' This is incorrect; I meant to say; Now this solder is 'LEADED' (with lead)...
