How To Remove a Stubborn Bootcamp Partition

I've been trying to get Windows 8 on my iMac because it's been a pain in the ass to adjust to as I'm a windows guy, but I ran into some problems along the way. One of these issues was being unable to remove the partitioned space for Bootcamp after it failed to boot into windows. Bootcamp kept giving me an error that stated the selected main disc isn't partitioned for Bootcamp in the first place, which was bullshit quite frankly. I could not find any solutions online so I took a risk and deleted this new disc space that had come with the partitioning of space for Bootcamp called "OSXRESERVED" (or something like that) and deleted it via the minus sign in Disk Manager, and afterward was able to simply do the same for Bootcamp's space.
